5 Things I'm Afraid Of As We Leave Australia

#1 Watch or Listen To "5 Things I'm Afraid Of As We Leave Australia" by Jason Whaley

Consider this Sunday morning’s lesson. You can listen here: http://bit.ly/1gCDfNL

Or watch here [video will be posted by Monday each week]: www.vimeo.com/rrcoc

What stuck out to you as interesting?

Did you encounter any challenging or re-orienting truth?

#2 Me, Too

Jason gave us five things he's afraid of. Which one most resonated with you? Explain why.

#3 Picture It

Imagine you're a missionary in another country. What would that look like? What would it involve? What habits or behaviors would have to adopt? How would your daily life be different?

If Round Rock, TX is a mission field (with 85% of people here not going to church anywhere on any given Sunday), how might you apply the principles of oversea mission work to your life right now, right here?

As Round Rock missionaries, what habits and behaviors do you need to adopt?

#4 No Fear

Read the following Psalms:

  • Psalm 3:1-6
  • Psalm 23:1-5
  • Psalm 27:1-5

What do we, as God's children have to be afraid of?

Is it easy to always have courage? Why is fear so easy to embrace?

What are you afraid of? Like, really afraid of? If you feel like fear is shackling you, share it with the group and pray together for freedom.

#5 Enough

On Sunday Jason talked about our desire for "enough" and the potential distractions and difficulties of having more than "enough."

How should we/do you go about deciding what "enough" looks like?
