PRAYER ROOM
“Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you.” - James 4:7
The Prayer Room is a space to seek the tangible presence of God, to be transformed by meditation on His Word, and to partner with His will through prayers of intercession for the people of God.
Normal Hours:
Monday, Wednesday & Thursday: 9am-3pm; Tuesday: 12pm-3pm; Sunday: 8:30am-1:00pm
What to Expect:
1) Outside the door of the prayer room there will be a place to take off your shoes as well as instructions on the wall to read before entering the room. We ask for cell phones to be silenced/turned off and be stored outside of the prayer room.
2) The prayer room will be cold. We'd suggest bringing layers, warm socks, and/or blanket. You are welcome to bring water and any personal prayer items (journal, bible, etc.). There are plenty of supplies to use in the room such as pens, paper, bibles, etc. There is no food allowed in the prayer room.
3) There are numerous options based on your level of comfortability with prayer. There will be prayer stations and prompts for those who would like ideas of how to spend the time. If you have a particular way you'd like to spend your prayer time you are welcome to ignore the stations as well.
Weekly Prayer Opportunities
Prayer Sets
Join us every Wednesday morning from 6:30-7:30am. Each week, a different team will lead this hour of worship and prayer in the auditorium as a way of living into being a house of prayer, like Jesus speaks of in the Gospels. Our hope is that this space will be a weekly time of meeting with God in powerful ways. We’d love to see you there!
Wednesday night prayer
Join us every Wednesday night from 7-8pm in the prayer room. During this time, a group gathers to press into fellowship with God and each other in prayer. Childcare is provided during this time. If you are unable to come to prayer on Wednesday mornings, consider joining on Wednesday nights instead! And if you are able to join on Wednesday mornings, consider coming to both if time allows. Praise God for the many ways He is building us into a house of prayer!
