TO START
Being genuine doesn’t always look the same. Sometimes it’s confession. Sometimes it’s sharing good news. And sometimes it’s laughing at yourself.
Tonight, to get started, share either an embarrassing story from high school or an accomplishment from high school you’re super proud of.

This week we’re talking about two core behaviors that matter a lot terms of making your small group all that it could be:
Be together & Be genuine
Which one’s hardest for you? Why do you think that is?
We said Sunday, “Human beings don’t do well when they’re isolated, or when they pretend to be someone they’re not.”
Share a story about a time you either found yourself isolated or a time you pretended to be someone other than who you are. What were the results of that?
Do you have any stories about the power of togetherness or being genuine? When have you see community or sincerity shine?
Brainstorm a list of reasons being together matters.
Now do the same for being genuine.
You might take a moment tonight for some honest COVID talk. How does it feel like COVID has affected your small group? Let members be genuine with their feelings. If your group seems out of sync or is struggling, make a plan together for rebuilding the relationship.
