This week, we were blessed by L.C. Alexander who preached as Zane was away.  This week, while we don’t have questions directly related to the sermon, we wanted to invite your group to tackle a few questions in relation to evangelism and to spend some time praying together for our Alpha group that will be starting this week on Wednesday, February 28th! 

DISCUSS AFTER READING MATTHEW 28:16-20

PROCESS/PRACTICE

  • Who was a part of the journey that brought you to faith in Jesus and what postures, emotions, etc. did they embody as they walked with you that were helpful? What brought you to faith in Jesus? 

  • For you, what is the hardest part about sharing your faith with others? AND do you feel equipped to share your faith with others? 

  • According to Jesus’s words in Matthew 28, what does it take to be a disciple of Jesus? 

  • Do you have (m)any non-Christian friends? What are some ways that you can nudge your friends towards curiosity about Jesus?

  • Were there any people in particular that came to mind as you prayed and considered you might invite to alpha? If so, did you make the invitation? Why or why not?

PRAY

  • This week, as y’all close together, we want to invite y’all to pray specifically for those who are going to be attending Alpha this Wednesday night along with our volunteers who will be serving in Alpha.
