Building Bridges
HEADS UP: This week is our final week of Small Group Discussion Guides this Spring.
This Sunday, we celebrated Senior Sunday and had the privilege of hearing from one of our Youth Deacons, John Kay. Due to this, we will have a more simple/concise discussion guide. Start with this prompt:
Share a time when you were a part of building bridges generationally.
TALK IT OUT AFTER READING PSALM 145
List together all the reasons given for praising God. Which is most compelling to you?
In your own words, how would you describe God?
Are there things in your life that you feel prevent you from seeing God’s great goodness more thoroughly? What might they be?
Are there people you know older and younger than you who encourage you to see God's great goodness more thoroughly? What do they do? How does it impact you?
What moves you the most often to praise God with all of yourself?
PRAY IT OUT
As we head towards this end of the school year and the Spring turning towards Summer, I want to invite your group to close out this meeting by reflecting on the year up to this point. Consider inviting everyone to answer the following prompt and then spend time praying a prayer of gratitude to God for these things…
Share one way you have experienced God’s love through a person or multiple people in your small group.
